Movie

Last night my husband I and went to a sneak preview of Corpse Bride at the new South Lamar Alamo.  The tickets were free, you just had to sign up early on some website.  Well, we still spent money on pizza, beer, and $5 milkshakes.  "That's a pretty f***ing good milkshake. I don't know if it's worth five dollars but it's pretty f***ing good."  We didnt go to the theater where Tim Burton was going to talk because we couldn't stay real late anyway because of the kiddos at home, so we went to the other and it was fairly empty so that was kind of nice actually.

I very much enjoyed the movie, fun characters and music.  Plus seeing movies at the Alamo is just so much more fun that regular theaters.  They showed previews for Tim Burton stuff like Beetlejuice and The Nightmare Before Christmas.  They showed some mini movies of Tim Burton's, one with Vincent Price that I have seen before and love, and part of one for the song the Devil Went Down to Georgia.  As for the movie... without spoilers since most people havent seen it, one of my favorite lines was, "It's my eye, isn't it?"  haheahe.  nevermind.

We got some swag since it was a special Rolling Road Show event.  Here's what I got.

I also saw an ad that before Halloween the Alamo is going to have some showings of The Nightmare Before Christmas with Sing-a-longs to the songs.  Woot! How fun is that?

Hey I also have a question. Why is it that in animation shows of any type people with big chins are always the rude or pompous ones? Are there ever nice caring people with huge chins? I can think of many movies where the obnoxious characters have huge chins, I guess it represents how they are raising their head and looking down on people or something, or are huge chins innately unattractive?
