Ice cream

Friday the kids got out of school early so we decided to go do something fun.  We went to Kaleidoscoops for some ice cream.
Who doesnt love ice cream?  Especially toddlers dressed up as Clifford?

Tracy used her taster spoons to be a walrus.  goo goo ga joob.

New Three Kids

Take me out to the ballgame

Despite crazy weather predictions, saturday ended up being a pretty nice day out.  Andrew had his first baseball game of the season.  Mike desperately was trying to get back from California to see the game and managed to arrive with a few minutes left and surprise all the kiddos.
I forgot my camera, so here's a quick phone pic of Andrew up at bat.  He ended up walking to first, stealing second and third and then the inning ended.  This is "kid" pitch, not coach pitch so there are a lot of walks and steals, since the kids are still kind of practicing up on their pitching and catching skills.  Andrew had a lot of fun at the game.

wow! cold!

The kids and I headed out the door to get on our bikes to ride to school and we immediately turned back around and grabbed our jackets!   It was downright chilly at 7am this morning.  What a surprise!  It felt great and refreshing.   I came home and headed out and ran a few miles and still felt great.  Then I rode Loren up to her school on my bike.  Go me, feels good to get a little exercise in this morning.

It's supposed to be in the 50's tomorrow morning and highs in the 80s all week.  Ahhhh.  I mean I like me some hot weather, but this is a refreshing break from the particularly hot summer this year.
