Soaring to the sky

Sunday we met up with my parents and my sister and her family and went to the Dulles Annex of the Air and Space Museum called the Stephen F. Udvar-Hazy Center.    We all had fun seeing the hundreds of aircraft and spacecraft they had on display.

Look a real concorde!  Badass but totally impractical, too bad.

There were some seriously huge planes in there.

Dude, can I just BE Richard Branson.   He does cool stuff.   (This is the global flyer!)  Hope Fossett is setting some records in the afterlife.

They have the Shuttle Enterprise on display.  This is a real shuttle, but it's the only one that never flew, it was kind of an R&D model.

SR-71 Blackbird.  The fastest jet in the world.  Plus it just looks flippin' sweet!

They have a cool statue out front.
