wireless range

Our home wireless doesn't reach in the backyard. Well, I take that back. It works on the deck, but not at my new flippin sweet play spot. Do you suppose if I complained to Mike he would remedy that, especially if it involved a trip to Fry's and the purchase of some sort of electronic gadget?

If your router or wireless access point is made by LinkSys, you can get range extending antennas and they're not too expensive.

He probably read this before coming home, and is on his way there now.

Well, we just need to move the access point back up in the wiring spot upstairs. Right now it is in the front window in the office. I can boost with the antenna's but that would just give Greg better reception of a network he can't login to. :)

I thought about moving it, but I wasnt sure how many computers were plugged into it in the office, I knew some were plugged directly into the wall going to the switch but thought there were extras plugged into the router too.
